Everyone is welcome to worship with us!

We know that walking into a new place is sometimes difficult. We have made that easy for you by being a church that is online 24 hours per day/ 7 days a week. No matter where you are in life, we are glad to have you among us. We do not judge… for that is God’s job, not ours. It is our desire for all who visit His Gospel to find a place to worship God and connect with people. There’s a place for you here whether you are just beginning to explore Christianity or have been a Christ follower for a long time.

Sunday Afternoons

We invite you to worship with us online Sundays at 1:00 PM Pacific. We use Zoom. We start our services on time and, in general, we have concluded our services by 2:30 PM Pacific. You can spend the remainder of your Sunday resting or enjoying your family and friends.

Since we are online, feel free to come dressed up or come in jeans. Stand, sit, raise your hands, sing along, or participate quietly. Whatever your worship style, you will feel comfortable at HGCF.

Important Items

Our service begins with engaging, live worship through music, followed by an expository message from the Bible. This means that we actually teach from the Bible, helping you to understand it and apply it to your life. All of this takes place in a casual and friendly online environment where everyone is welcome, and everyone can belong.

The pastors do not accept salaries. 100% of all tithes and offerings given to God through His Gospel are used in direct support of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to help those in need.
Our pastors deliver the Word of God in regular English. Their goal is to get God’s message out, rather than put on a show.
We don’t sell things to support the church. We completely believe and trust in God’s ability to provide for His church.
You can wear what you want. You can come in jeans. Or you can dress up if you wish. What you wear during worship service is between you and God.

We teach that giving is a part of worship. However, we don’t interrupt service to take up an offering. If you choose to give your tithe and offerings to HGCF we will use them to further God’s Kingdom. But how and where you give is between you and God.
Periodically, we do hold in-person services and when we do, we don’t force you to stand, sit, raise your hands, lower your hands, jump, scream, or do anything else to prove your devotion to God. You can do all of those things if you wish. But you don’t have to do so to prove anything to us.

It will be sent to one of our pastors and if desired, added to our prayer list.

Security

HGCF takes security seriously. Pastor Gary Harris leads our physical security teams and our emergency preparedness ministries. Pastor Gary was a career law enforcement officer with 30+ years of experience. We are blessed to have him serve God’s people in this capacity.

Senior Pastor Bob Owens is also involved with the security of our members’ personal information. Pastor Bob served as a Chief Information Security Officer, during his secular career. It’s his nature to protect, that which is valuable, including HGCF member’s personal information as well as their immortal souls. He also makes sure that our vendors operate secure services and employ best practices for data security.
